Проект жилого комплекса "Modular future".

Международный конкурс "Micro to Macro" от Лондонского журнала "Eleven", с задачей разработать жилье будущего с использованием технологий модульного строительства. Проект занял второе место.
The future is with 3D printers. Even today there are prototypes that can print using concrete of various brands. In decades, this technology will be sufficiently developed to print quality products. Therefore, we have developed modules printable via a 3d printer, filling the frame with concrete. The big attention today is given to recycling and plastic disposal. Given this, we have decided to use as much plastic as possible in our modules. Which is why we use fiberglass reinforcements from recycled plastic. For warm keeping special prepared plastic bottles are filled with air. Such material has an excellent heat loss resistance. It will make our modules comfortable both for summer and winter seasons. The assembled frame filled with plastic bottles is to be filled with concrete using a 3d printer.
The main idea is availability. Looking at how the world is changing today, we can predict tomorrow. Today everything is becoming simpler. In future, every city resident will be able to purchase a residential house simply downloading the right application to a smartphone. We have developed a variety of modules in which we used a system of measuring sizes in clothes. XS, S, M, L, XL - so simple that anyone can figure out what module they need and what they can afford. If a town dweller buys a module that is smaller than XL, he or she can buy appropriate blocks, thereby increasing the useful area if necessary. Nowadays it seems very essential to adapt the accommodation based on a customer's needs. We also believe that the future is with mixed buildings. Buildings that contain everything. We have designed separate modules for businessmen who want to set up a store or an office, or any other service. They just need to open an application and select the module suitable for them. Make an order and it will be delivered to you fully equipped.

We think about the future. The main problem in metropolitan cities today is overpopulation. Now more that ever it is necessary to tighten suburbs and small towns with low-rise buildings. Having thought about it, we believe developers should use concrete frames because it will be cheaper. The position and floor number will be coordinated with the local authorities and the city main architect. Frameworks are initially designed to be easily built in any module. Consequently, developers will also make these modules that could be later used for home and business purposes. Thus, saving on the building construction, they will make as many modules as necessary. Houses will be occupied as the opposite to the current situation. Also, frames are to contain all connections for water line, canalisation, staircases, elevator halls. What is more, we suggest creating additional recreational areas and lounge zones. This way concrete frames will function as a barrier to heavy traffic outside. We believe it is possible to create a skyscraper with accommodation which is available to every resident to rent. Finally, our unique system will introduce an additional road which will look like a bridge between houses. It will be independent and cover the necessary communication needs. These bridges have cycle lanes and trams. We are absolutely sure that this idea will solve the commute problems in big cities.
